Puranic Story of Rahu and Ketu

A Demon named Swarbhanu smelled foul play and sat amongst the group of Gods, disguised as one. Being unrecognizable, he too got a share of the nectar. Surya and Chandra abruptly identified Swarbhanu and exposed him. That is when Mohini took the Form of the four handed Lord Vishnu and beheaded the Demon. 

But, Swarbhanu did not die. His Head became Rahu and body became Ketu, as he had already consumed the nectar of immortality. Rahu and Ketu still hold a Grudge against the Sun and Moon God for having disclosed their identity and being the cause of their severance.
